Event Lecture 1:  Fast Scan Ultrasound

What Will Be Covered?

• An introduction to ultrasound concepts
• Basic ultrasound operation and probe handling
• How to implement ultrasound in your practice
• FAST exam of canine patients as a starting point
• Sonography practice on phantom models
• Principles of ultrasound and how to optimize images
• How to locate specific organs
• Phantom scanning lab is a lab to scan inanimate objects that will provide training on handling the equipment and how the images are formed

Event Lecture 2:  FAST Scan Ultrasound Wet Lab
Held on:  5/23/2024 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
CE Credits:  2.0 Hours

What Will Be Covered?

• This wet lab will focus on putting the principles and skills from the previous night's lecture and phantom lab into practice by scanning live dogs.
