Event Volunteer

Event Volunteers are CACVT members that assist with CACVT events and complete tasks assigned by the Supervisor.  The CACVT holds multiple events every year, with our spring conference being our largest event. Event volunteers help make these events possible, uphold the organization’s values, and maintain a high degree of professionalism. 

General responsibilities

Setup for events
Assist at registration desk
Help with flow of attendees
Attendance tracking
Communicate with members that have questions
Moderate lectures
Clean up after events

Qualifications

Good verbal communication skills and professional demeanor.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
Punctuality 

Schedule/Time Commitment

1-2 hours/month plus attendance at the event.  Volunteers can commit to one single event or multiple events.
