AWAC Spring Training

Spring Training, hosted by the Animal Welfare Association of Colorado Education Committee and Animal Control Committee, will be held April 13-14, 2023. The location is in Westminster at the Westminster Police Department. REGISTER HERE. The deadline to register is April 6, 2023.

Topics include trauma and first aid in animals and humans (a hands-on class), canine body language and bite recognition, and urban wildlife management. Continuing education credits are offered for this training. Those who attend both days can earn 10 Bureau of Animal Protection credits; 14 general credits.
